I agree with Randall Carlson about the younger / dryas asteroid swarm. THIS recovery period is what Genesis 1 is all about. It is not talking about the original creation of the earth (which is just Genesis 1:1) but the recovery period from that asteroid swarm and that is immortalized on the vulture Stone of Gobekli Tepe. The Earth was in tohoo bohoo in Genesis 1:2 which means a wasteland. Then the skies were black and no light (aka ash cloud and vaporized water.) that gradually recedes until you can see the sun on Day 4. At the same time, the water is receding off the land. Khufu is not a small "controversial inscription". First off there's multiple iterations of his name written in the relieving chambers.
